Is moissanite a real gemstone?
Yes. Moissanite is a distinct gemstone with its own chemical and optical properties. Stoic uses premium lab-grown moissanite engineered for exceptional clarity, brilliance, and consistency.
How is it different from CZ?
Moissanite is significantly harder, more scratch-resistant, and more brilliant than cubic zirconia. CZ is a softer, inexpensive diamond simulant that can scratch and become cloudy with wear.
Is moissanite durable enough for everyday wear?
Absolutely. At approximately 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones used in jewelry, making it highly resistant to scratching and exceptionally well suited to everyday wear.
Will moissanite get cloudy or lose its shine?
Like diamond, Moissanite does not become cloudy with age. Its optical properties remain stable over time.
